Edged weapon assaults are a constant threat for law enforcement and civilians. Knife attacks are common and statistically more lethal than firearms.

This seminar offers pragmatic, real-world, self-defense solutions for knife attacks. It is a training module that builds on critical combat attributes and foundations before transitioning into progressive drills and pressure testing guidelines.

The seminar will focus on:

  • Fundamental Concepts in Knife Defense
  • Utilizing various tactical options
  • Distance Management
  • Progressive Drills to enhance Skill Retention

The primary instructor for this course is Chris Mandigma, recognized as an authority in police and law enforcement defensive tactics, he specializes in the integration of empty-hand tactics, impact and edged weapons and pistol. His experience spans over 15 years in law enforcement and security with a martial arts background in Muay Thai, Jujutsu and the Filipino Martial Arts.

As a vetted training supplier for the Government of Canada, Chris is a certified Federal Government instructor and the sole TRICOM Master Instructor in Canada under the direct tutelage of Tuhon Jared Wihongi.
