Your First Step to becoming a Security Instructor.
The Security Instructor curriculum was developed by Chris Mandigma - the curriculum now widely used as the training program standard for multiple security services and security contracts in Ontario, Canada.
Course Focus:
- Tactics: The combatives training we offer is pragmatic and concise integrating our various backgrounds in weapons. Muay Thai, Jiu-jitsu, and Pekiti-Tirsia Kali concepts.
- Methods of Instruction: We adhere to the nationally-recognized principles of Methods of Instruction as participants delve into hands-on application, theory, and reality-based scenarios.
- Instructor Development: Participants will refine their delivery to enhance transfer of information for better information retention. A heavy emphasis is placed on learning not just 'how' to do a technique, but also the 'whys'.
The course prioritizes officer safety, legal considerations, and realistic tactics over flashy and complicated techniques.
Participants should be prepared for hands-on activity.
