Blade-Based Tactics

Unrehearsed. Unchoreographed. Addressing how VIOLENT and FAST an bladed weapon attack is.

The simple answer to avoid a knife attack is "run away" or "don't be there", but studies show that 80% of the victims didn't see the knife until the assault actually started and almost 71% of assaults occurred within 3 feet away from the victim.

Contrary to most 'knife' seminars that involve unrealistic and overly-complicated techniques, this seminar is DRIVEN by concepts: it's easier to implement, remember, and apply when needed.

Founded off concepts of the Edged Weapon Countermeasures TRICOM module, this seminar starts with edged-weapon attacks from a standing where participants will work through blade-based tactics in progressive flow drills that mimic the unpredictability of actual encounters.

Course Note: This training is open to everyone regardless of skill level and instruction is offered in both English and French.
