Blade-Based Tactics
Unrehearsed. Unchoreographed. Addressing how VIOLENT and FAST a bladed weapon attack is.
The simple answer to avoid a knife attack is "run away" or "don't be there", but studies show that 80% of the victims didn't see the knife until the assault actually started and almost 71% of assaults occurred within 3 feet away from the victim.
Contrary to most 'knife' seminars that involve unrealistic and overly-complicated techniques, this seminar is DRIVEN by concepts: it's easier to implement, remember, and apply when needed.
Day 1 starts with edged-weapon attacks from standing where participants will work through blade-based tactics in progressive flow drills that mimic the unpredictability of actual encounters—tight spaces, rapid escalation, and blade-based weapon deployment.
Day 2 continues with more blade attacks transitioning into weapons-based grappling on the ground. It's not a jiu-jitsu class or wrestling class, but rather distilling the tactics so it's easier to apply under critical stress environments.
The end state: officers who can solve problems in motion, not just perform techniques in isolation.
